Right now, I'm kind of obsessive over the TV show GLEE. Basically, it's a show about a high school Glee Club and the misfits who are in it. They usually cover 4-6 songs per episode. COVER those songs. As in "Kids Bop" for grown ups. Yep. Didn't think I'd be a fan, but I can't help myself. I guess I must want to live in a world where people can bust into song and express their feelings through songs and it's ok... :) ANYWAY.... I'm a little obsessive over Glee... Especially lately. I mean, I used to watch it and it would make me happy and laugh and I'd move on. (Well, after I talked with Angie about the guys on the show and which song was our favorite.) Now, it in its 2nd Season. They've released 5 CD's (with #6 to come out soon). I have them all. (Thanks, Provo Library!) I've always gone back and forth over which guy I liked the most. Those days are gone. I know...
THIS season there is a guy on it named Blaine (except his real name is Darren Criss). He's a dark haired, confident boy... who just happens to be gay on the show (note: in real life, he's straight). But I "know him" as the dark haired, confident gay boy. And I'm in love with him.
I've been in love with Puck (the bad boy) and with Mike (the guy who can TOTALLY move) and even Mr. Shuester (the teacher)... But none of them compare to Blaine. I don't know why I'm obsessing over him other than he has an amazing voice and confidence and a killer smile. Maybe it's the whole "unattainable" quality ("he's gay, I will make him straight!")... That usually does something to me, the whole "unattainable" thing... Not sure that's what it is, but I just want to watch him sing. To watch him talk. To watch him just stand there and look pretty. :) Oh, and did I mention that he did a "Harry Potter Musical"? Yep. I may or may not have watched it on YouTube... And I may or may not have all the songs on my Grooveshark (online radio) playlist. Allegedly. :)
Anyway, I wanted to share some of his talent... This is him at what looks like a club. I found this song on Grooveshark a few weeks ago and it's been my most played song ever since...

Tom Jones
You may or may not know this about me, but I am a Tom Jones fan. That's right. Tom Jones. Mr. "What's New Pussycat" himself. :)
I understand that he was born in 1940 (which makes him 70!) and that he is basically a Man-Whore. I understand that most people my age probably don't find him as awesome as I do (or really even know who he is). I bet most people don't search for videos on YouTube of Tom Jones. I bet most people don't have 4 songs on their phone of Tom Jones (as awesome homemade ring tones!) and a super fun collection of Tom Jones songs on their IPod. And 4 Cds... I get that I'm different.
But do I care? Not one teeny tiny bit. Check out this beefy hunk of Tom Jones that I discovered on the internet today...
Yep... Totally hot. :) Notice his pretty green eyes and dark hair? Remind you of another man in my life? :) I think I have a type.
But it's not just Tom's totally handsome face that I love... Not at all. I love his voice. I love - love - LOVE! the power he has when he sings. He has an AMAZING voice. It's strong and full of emotion and just ***TOM*** It's so great, I can't even explain.
If you know who Tom Jones is, first off, good for you. If not, here are a few of his songs...

It's my favorite cover of any song. Ever. He sounds like he's having a great time and upbeat and just strong. Yeah, it's that good. :)
I can't find the actual video that was done for the song. (BOO!) and while the fan video is good, it's just not enough Tom. So I give you a 'live' version that has the awesome song I like, but Tom is lip syncing... Still Tom. Still great song... I hope you enjoy. :)

Dirty Little Secret...
I faithfully check the Post Secret blog on Sunday mornings. I completely love it. It's refreshing to know that there are people out there with secrets bigger than your own. What's my secret? I'm not telling! :)

I've always loved this song. And the lead singer! :) Can you say gorgeous? :) :) :) He's TOTALLY my type. I like to watch their videos over and over again just to see him... Hmmm... maybe that's my secret? :)
